Finance’s Vacation Program has two intakes per year which run through the mid-year winter and end-of-year summer holidays.
Students will need to meet the following criteria:
- have completed at least their first year of study;

There may also be opportunities for successful candidates to work part-time during the year on a temporary (non-ongoing) basis.
The positions are based in Canberra and successful interstate candidates will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation associated costs.
The Program allows university students to develop valuable work experience within the Australian Public Service and provides an avenue to encourage students to continue employment with Finance (via the Finance Graduate Development Program) once their studies have been completed.
The Program is advertised in May (Winter) and October (Summer) on the Finance Internet, in Mycareer, Seek and on relevant university websites.
